My Beloved Romy

It is With a heavy Heart tha I am posting about the loss of my girl.

Back in January, in the early morning Fog.

The Girls of the pack worked open the gate enough to get out . 3 made it back home.

Romy the Heart of the Pack did not return.

I spent days posting fliers and knocking on doors asking friends and others if they had seen her.

4 days later another Borzoi Buddy out driving with one of Her friends ( Helping Me ) Found

My Girl Dead in a ditch 1 mile behind my house.

We (My Son & I) Were able to burry Her Before all the Snow Hit.. I am just now able to post about it... May her journey over the bridge be met with lots of bunny's to chase. Cathy

Finally a Update

Ok. So I really suck at keeping a Blog up to date. That really should come as no surprise to anyone else with the dreaded Fibro fog... I keep meaning to post...or what ever

Brats! The 6 month old evil twins are like the Cats in lady & the Tramp! What one does not think to get into, the other comes up with something new! I took Ember for a walk 15 minutes down the road. Ok it was just a short jaunt. The evil twins were out back playing so no big deal I thought!

Wrong! They came in and got what was left in the cabinet of a ten pound bag of sugar. They dumped some on the kitchen floor. Then the made a trail through the living room. Then up on our bed with what was left in the bag. They were all smiles when I walked in! They seemed to be very proud of their artistic designs... I love their creativity! They have almost gotten in as much stuff as my Irish Water Spaniel "Otis". That is pretty good for a sight hound! They love picking on Miss Moya! One hangs on her tail, the other chews on her scruff. Once in a while Tia grabs a toy and runs around the back yard biting on the squeaker proclaiming that she is "IT" and everyone chases her. It is quite the game of "catch me if you can"! They do keep me entertained! I was given some potatoes from my fathers garden. I set them on top of the kennel by the door. I found them strewn about the house with bites taken out of some of them. Moya thinks they are fun! A ball that you can eat too! 'The Best thing ever"!

Gavren & Tia are home from Anne's! I am thrilled to see the little brats! As you can see, they already found the little pond! Moya Was so tired from the dogshow today she crashed in the living room too tired to play!

Say that I have not accomplished anything that I wanted to do today...

I did laundry & That was about it Moe has been bored out of her mind !

She misses her little buddies! I am right there with her! I did a few stacking exercises.

I checked her teeth. I did not EVEN feel up to walking in the kitchen to cook anything. I just woke up at 9 p.m. from a noon nap! since I don't sleep much that was a huge nap!

Otis

Went with me this morning over to Columbus. I watched My friend Amy Show two of her Beautiful Borzoi. She got lovely ribbons, but no points, Her little puppy is just a cutie!

A lovely grey-blue color. After the Show I drove over to the north end of town, since I was already there. I got some solid dee rings for a project, and a cute Dragonfly Concho. Then I went over to Easton to use my gift card my daughter gave me for Christmas. It was from a cooking store I like.

I got a spatula, and two dish towels for just under $40 (Very well made, but kinda pricey!) I usually shop at the clearance bins. Otis enjoyed the special quiet time with me.. He napped in the car while rain drenched me between stores! The Pack was happy to have me back home! I was gone about 5 hours. I had to take a nap just to recuperate from being out in the rain! I will be glad when this weather pattern passes by!
