Still

Not finished with the mower deck. It was a bad fibromyalgia day Spring is prety to look at. However the temp swings with the cold & rain just plain Hurt! I cut the nails some more on the pup. I still have to finish Romy's nails. I spent the rest of the day working on an animated gif file.
I don't think it turned out too bad... The tail wags, & the eyes Blink.

My Magnolia

Bloomed! It is just Beautiful! Today was spent relaxing & enjoying the sun. Oh...We had plans, and things that We wanted to get done. It just seemed that our time clocks were not on the same planet. I was up early and spent the morning puttering around. got tired and went back to bed for a nap. He got up sometime during my nap and started watching old movies waiting on me to wake up. The whole day kinda went by with us doing stuff waiting on the other one to finish what they were doing so we could go! We left the house at 7:30 p.m. to run a couple of errands before the stores closed. When We got Home I put Moya (AKA Moe) on a show lead and walked down our country road before it got dark. That was Her first time on that type of lead. O how comical we must have looked! She would forge ahead 3 steps only to be slowed down by the lead. She did this the whole walk. Tomorrow is another day

What a Warm

Beautiful spring day! I got that dang bolt off only to find that the flange bushing was worn totally through. I have spent most of the evening surfing the net for replacement parts. Of course first I had to figure out what the part I needed was called & what size I needed. At least I am on the right track now. What is truly frustrating is I had the tractor at the dealers service department an had asked them to fix that three years ago. With all the mistakes that were made, I have become very adept at servicing my own tractor! So much for having your sons cousin married to the owners daughter! thankfully since I have fixed most everything. I have not been bitten by the new tractor bug. I still like my tractor very much! I got to put Moe on a show lead for a little bit today. I am optimistic we will figure this show dog stuff out....

Thursday

Well I did get to see some sun! That means that Mowing in now close in my future. I pulled out the mower deck then went in the house to recuperate a couple of hours. I find it very frustrating not to be able to do the stuff I used to consider normal! I went back out and pulled off the tensioner spring on the belt. I sat down and looked at it fora few before I cleaned the bolt head off. Dag This stuff used to take just a few minutes now I will have to wait till tomorrow to finish removing the bolt! I bid hubby farewell as He went off to work. This third shift sucks as far as my sleeping goes. I can't imagine what he is going through. After He left, I took a pork roast I had cooked over to Mom & Dads. Mom had biscuits & a very tasty assortment of side dishes to go with it. My Daughters family was there too! It was very nice to see the grandkids! it had been about 3 weeks since I had seen Emily 5 & Jacob 3 They came back to the house with me. It is funny to watch the packs reaction to the Grandkids & vice-versa. Moe is taller than Romy now so that was a big shock to them. She was fascinated with the little people, & Emily had CHEESE! since she & moe looked at each other eye to eye, I had to shoo moe out of the kitchen. She was very reluctant with a But But But HEY! look on her face!

Cold Damp

Drizzle. So ok I came in and fell asleep Wednesdays post is made after Midnight.
I Charged the battery on my garden tractor, and while the front blade was still on I moved gravel in the front driveway. Anytime the tractor starts up, Otis (My Irish Water Spaniel) comes running! He feels he must ride on the tractor too He sits on the area in front of my seat. I was having a problem with a large puddle down by the road. I spent time scraping a little swale across the drive d so the water would drain. I spent about 15 years working for a public utility operating a backhoe so I do have some clue on what I was doing. I got so involved in getting it to look just right and not be a speed bump that I failed to notice just how stiff my legs and back had become in the damp air! Rats! It took a major effort to just get off the tractor. Otis was looking at me like come on already! You turned off the tractor it's time to go in! I went in the back room where the heater is an just sat there next to the heat. I promptly ended up napping. I wanted to work with Moya a little this evening. Oh well, I slept through that idea! I am still hurting so off to a hot tub and to Bed I go. At least the drive will not have to be redone anytime soon!

Tuesday

Well It was a second cold wet rainy day. My Fibro was in full swing, yuck! The pack was reluctant to go out this morning, big surprise.... when I finally shooed them out the door, Moe decided that She liked being outside. I finally decided to let her stay out for a while. She was just laying out in the yard relaxing. She finally came in an Hour later soaking wet. Happy as a lark. I guess she must have had a little cabin fever, that and missing her play pals. I worked with her on her show stance. She thought I was insane. I am looking forward to the rain letting up.
